Is alcohol allowed at Camp4Compassion?
This is a family event, social alcohol consumption by adults of legal age is allowed only at your campsite. No alcohol is allowed near the entertainment. Loud, disruptive or violent behaviour resulting from intoxication will not be tolerated. It is the responsibility of the camper / tenant to enforce underage drinking laws among all members of their group.
We don't like camping, are other accommodations available near by & can we
still attend Camp4Compassion?
Check out " local accommodations near Camp4Compassion " for a list of motels near by. Yes you can still attend our events if you decide to stay elsewhere.
Get we park at Camp4Compassion?
Parking is available at Camp 4 Compassion, with overflow
parking & shuttle service available from
FGT Family Church
located at
285 Talbot St. E. Leamington. Shuttle service courtesy of
South Point Ford &
Pinnacle Chrysler. People movers will also be available at our
Camp4Compassion property.
Will there be any food available for sale?
Yes, There will be a food vendor on site.
Are children allowed?
This is a family event and we encourage families to bring
their children.
What kind of washrooms & showers will be available?
We have Porta Johns and a Shower available.
Can I get a full service camp site?
All campsites are no service. If you require a full service campsite please contact Camper's Cove or Wheatley Provincial Park which is down the street.
Are there picnic tables available?
We will have some picnic tables available and some community BBQ's available to use as well.
Can we have campfires on campsites?
There are no campfires permitted on the camp sites. There will be
a large community campfire Friday and Saturday night.
Do I need a reservation?
There is limited number of sites so you will need to register early because they fill up fast.
Can I bring my pet with me to the campgrounds?
No pets allowed, except guide dogs.
Will water hook ups be available?
There is no water hook up but we do have water available for
your use.
Can I bring my own BBQ?
You can bring your BBQ, but we will have some community BBQ's available to use as well.
